Story

UPDATE: THE SKY DIVE HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED FOR THE 10TH OF JUNE!

UPDATE: We’re fundraising to the magic total of £2,790 which means both Kev & Mark will have a plaque at the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence & most importantly we would have funded a whole day of research in their memory!

Chloe, Ollie & myself are taking part in a charity skydive in memory of our Dads; Kevin Burrowes & Mark Burgess.

Our families have been best friends for over 20 years, and unfortunately this cruel disease has taken both of our Dads too soon.

We lost Mark 9 years ago, and Kevin just over a month ago. Our families now have a bond which we never expected, and want to ensure that no other families face the same fate of losing their loved one when they still had so much more life to live.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer and just 12% survive beyond five years. We want to work together to #FundTheFight and help raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
