Set up in memory of Rosie May Storrie, age 10, who was brutally murdered in 2003. The Rosie May Foundation is a little charity with a BIG vision committed to creating a living legacy for children, especially girls, giving them a future that Rosie May was denied. "Make A Difference Together"

Story

We are embracing retirement and heading off to Sri Lanka to volunteer at the Rosie May Foundation with Project Hope and Rosie May Home for Girls (much to our children’s amazement!)

Project Hope offers single mothers at risk of having to separate from their children support and opportunities to help their families stay together. Project Hope teaches these women skills to become independent financially. Their latest venture includes training the women to drive specially donated Rosie May pink tuk-tuks!

We’ll be volunteering at the project and helping out with practising English, family learning and IT skills (no driving tuk-tuks)

We hope you can support us in raising money for this great cause. All the money raised will go directly to the Rosie May Foundation rather  than you paying for a lovely holiday for us!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
