"Walk to Pakistan" · 5 October 2019

We are a charity, formed in a Methodist Church in Bradford, to support the poor villagers of Shanti Nagar in Pakistan, because, as Christians, they cannot find employment in a Muslim region.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The church community has been challenged to see how far we can walk on the day, adding together everyone's individual achievement, hypothetically in the direction of Pakistan. One circuit of the church boundary equals 473 metres. 11 circuits equals 10 km. To walk all the way to Pakistan would take 18,462 laps!

The walk is to take place on 5 October and all the money donated will go direct to the people of Shanti Nagar village, for them to spend on needs they identify. Each year, since we formed our charity, we have sent over 3,000 GBP to the village, and it has made a massive difference to the lives of the people. Thank you for your help!
