Story

I will have been working for St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne for 15 years when I go on my trek.  I have never totally appreciated the amazing work that everybody does there, be it staff or volunteers. This is a great opportunity to give something back to the hospice for being such good employers and giving our community all that we have.  To make everyone feel special in their time of need no matter who this may be, from patients to visitors. My mission is to get fit enough to do the challenge ahead. I really want to succeed in starting and finishing the trek so that I, personally, can hold my head up high and say I DID IT, and to raise funds together to go towards more hospice care in our great community. This is the first time I have ever attempted anything like this and it is going to be some challenge as I am sooooo unfit but my goal, with your lovely help, is to get me to reach this please. This hospice is like family and I have made many lovely friendships there being visitors or colleagues so i thank you all for being amazing people................
