I usually dance for childhood cancer awareness month but it his year I am opting to Step Through September and take 10,000 steps every day. 

As you know, early diagnosis of childhood cancer is a topic that is close to my heart, having spent the last 7years raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of brain tumours through the HeadSmart campaign, and now working on early diagnosis of other childhood cancers in my PhD. 

There are huge inequities with how children and young people are diagnosed with childhood cancer across the world. Whilst 5 year survival estimates in the UK are 84%, some low-income countries have survival estimates as low as 20% with many not even receiving a diagnosis. 

This year, with your support, we will increase the number of children diagnosed with cancer in low-income countries, improve the quality of care they receive, and provide financial and emotional support for families. Together, lets walk towards a world where no child dies of a curable disease.
