2009 GRIM Challenge · 5 December 2009 ·

Siblings who grow up with a disabled brother or sister often have more worries, more responsibilities and less attention from parents than those who don’t. Sibs is the UK charity for siblings and provides information and support to siblings of all ages.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am supporting Sibs during my year as Lady Captain at Bingley St Ives Golf Club. On December 5th 2009 I will be taking part in the Grim Challenge an 8 mile 'race' in a wet and very muddy field in Aldershot. Please help me to help those whose lives are so much more complicated.

Update

I completed Grim 2009 in 1 hour 49 minutes and 39 seconds. I finished 2381st / 2710 participants. THANK YOU to all the people who sponsored me. It was very wet and very mud and very cold. I had a swim in the first puddle but kept on plodding...Your support has been fantastic.

The site will stay up for a few more weeks. Please keep the support coming in.
