We have set ourselves the personal challenge of cycling 100 miles in a day and to top it all - it's a race! It will be tough and demanding and will require us to undertake a rigorous training programme but the sacrifice will be more than worthwhile if we can raise in excess of £1200 for Longfield, a Hospice in Minchinhampton. At Longfield patients with life limiting illnesses can choose from a range of services which are offered free of charge:

• Art and complimentary therapies
• Carer and family support
• Counselling
• Peer to Peer support
• Physiotherapy
• Information and advice

Like many friends and families, we know people who have received care from the fantastic staff at Longfield and in raising this money we would like to give something back to the community in memory of a kind, beautiful and very brave friend - Lara Crook who sadly passed away on 9 October 2014 aged only 23 years.
