We support men suffering from bereavement to improve their physical, emotional health

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I appreciate any support or donation however small .

Over the past  6 years , your generosity has been overwhelming, and you have raised money for many amazing causes , such as Hounds for Hero’s and Royal British legion bereaved families

So I know you are thinking Sharon running the marathon? Sharon Brynin ? Yeap , me , the only Brynin who didn’t do any real physical exercise (charity 5ks have been my limit ) the Brynin who would rather eat a marathon than running a marathon  Yeap that Sharon Brynin!

I applied following watching this years London marathon, I was so inspired I felt just so moved and motivated to do something so challenging. This year I climbed Snowdon , for Strongmens  first event . That gave me a huge boost as I had never done anything like that before  . So following this I applied, in April . I didn’t tell anyone , what are the chances of getting a place?  ...... Fast  forward  to August , Efrem and I were away , we were talking about the next  Strongmen event and Efrem said  you need to get some training in and I laughed as I said well it will be a good start especially if I got in the marathon, Efrem was laughing and didn’t believe me till I showed him my email!

It was our secret! THEN in October I got the email , your in!!! My first reaction was oh god, I actually felt sick , then , I thought I know how this happened , Yeap James , he would be like “ Go on then,  there you go , you applied do it!”

So there you go! That’s how and why I’m doing this Marathon, Yasmin came out on my first training run , I couldn’t run 100 meters without stopping . But 6 weeks in with sheer determination I’m training 3 times a week so far 5k , 10k done and I’m up to 7 miles . I am not the fastest but I will do it .

I have seen first hand the  benefits of Strongmen, so I wouldn’t or couldn’t think of a better cause to raise money for .
