Story
On 6th June I decided to treat myself for my birthday by booking to do a wing walk. This is happening on Friday 21st August.
I've been looking forward to this for the last couple of months. Now, less than 3 days before the event I've suddenly realised WHAT I have signed up to. Standing on top of a bi-plane with the engine in front of me, doing steep dips and dives, wing-overs and banked turns. A high adrenaline roller coaster in the sky, travelling at over 130mph!!! All with a metal pole behind me and a harness attaching me to the pole.
Several people have asked if I am doing this for charity, so I am. It's not something I will do every year (or maybe ever again). Please, if you can, donate and I promise to share photos and the video (including cheeks blowing around in the wind) after the event.
The Cure Parkinson's Trust are the only charity totally dedicated to finding a cure for this disease that affects my Dad and several people that I know. Every penny will help them to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson's, please help them to make a difference.
