SNAC's aim is to support children affected by arthritis and their families by providing information and contact. SNAC runs parent and whole family educational and supportive events hoping to fundamentally improve the childs and families experiences of living with arthritis.

Story

SNAC, a parent-volunteer led charity, supports children with arthritis and their families throughout Scotland by amongst other things running local and national events.

Arthritis in children is poorly understood and  there is very little awareness that children get arthritis too. The Edinburgh marathon gives us an opportunity to help raise awareness of JIA in children and of SNAC. 169 are running for SNAC on the 25th May thank you to each and every one of them :-)

Aimee was one of those children whom SNAC supported and I would like to believe that in her all too short a life the charity made a positive difference for her and her family. The first anniversary of Aimee's funeral is the 25th May and thus the relay provides the perfect opportunity to remember her in a positive way.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this event by running, helping behind the scenes are supporting runners.
