The Children's Hospice Association Scotland CHAS provides hospice services in Scotland for children with life-limiting conditions.  

It is a children's hospice which offers professional care, practical help and emotional support to the whole family from the day they are referred until the death of their child and beyond. 

I need to raise £300 but would love it to be more hence the £600 target!!!  So please ....dig deep and donate now.  Your donations will ensure around the clock medical care, emotional and practical support as well as fun activities for families who have children with life-limiting conditions.

£10 provides an hour of hands on care in the hospice - such as giving a child a relaxing bath, reading them a bedtime story before settling them down for a good night's rest.

£20 means that CHAS's activities team can take an affected child and their brothers and sisters for a special trip - creating precious memories that will be treasured forever.

£50 allows a Care Team member to provide one to one care through the night for an affected child, giving mum and dad peace of mind and a rare undisturbed sleep.

£100 enables bereaved parents to spend time with others who have lost a child, and one of our social workers, sharing memories both happy and sad and learning to cope with their grief.

 

This is my first big run!  I can't seem to run more than 9 miles so far without getting horrendous blisters but hopefully I'll have that sorted by 23rd May...maybe!!!???
