I have decided to raise funds by running the Manchester Marathon (28.4.13) in memory of a close friend who very sadly passed away to cancer at a young age.

 

As part of my friends care, she was supported by Marie Curie Cancer Nurses, who provide palliative and restbite care to families and patients. This is a voluntary funded organisation, and magnitude of their support is priceless to all at much needed times of emotion.

 

This is my third marathon - so I have been training over the last few months running 40 miles plus per week, so I am hoping all my efforts pay off. So in the last week I have decided to see how much money I can raise with one week to go!
