Sharon's Get Your Shoes On page

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. I am doing this challenge in memory of my mum (Cindy) who passed away last Xmas.
My Story
I was a carer for mum, who was blind and frail (and my dad before her) for many years. The carer role is undertaken with love, but can be exhausting, stressful and lonely for many.
The Charity: Carer's Link - East Dunbartonshire
Carer's Link is a wonderful charity which provides support, community, and a lifeline to so many carers young and old(er). You may simply be looking for some information, or you may go on to access advocacy, one-to-one support or our sessions and groups for carers. No matter who you are or who you care for, Carers Link is here to support you.
The Shoosmith's Annual Challenge: Get Your Shoes On
Starting on Monday 31 October, this is 2 weeks of running, cycling, swimming, kayaking (ummmm....maybe not) with the rest of my Kissing With Confidence teammates. The challenge for the 33 teams competing is to cover as much of the 1,066km distance from Shoosmith's most Northern office to their most Southern office (with a hop over to Belfast along the way).
A little end note....
