We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Hi!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During my Easter holidays this year, James Paul and I walked the West Highland Way.  We did the 95 mile walk in 6 days stopping off at little B&B's along the way.  We had a brilliant time walking through some of Scotland's most beautiful landscapes.  In spite of sore feet and tiredness, we had an adventure we will never forget.

We are raising money for Marie Curie's "The Big Build" Hospice Appeal in Glasgow.  They need £16.1 million to complete the build of a modern replacement hospice that will offer state-of-the-art care.  They have already raised £14.6 million but need people like us for the last push to raise the remaining £1.5 million.  Cancer has taken the lives of so many of our family and friends that we want to do something fitting in their memory and at the same time help the lives of people with cancer now and in the future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and give what you can to Marie Curie!
