Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that exists to make life-changing wishes come true for the thousands of critically ill children across the UK. The power of a wish allows families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Story

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. PLEASE PLEASE CONTINUE TO DIG DEEP NO MATTER HOW BIG OR HOW SMALL XX
This little man is the whole reason I'm walking from London to Oxford in September xx
Joseph is a 3 year old little boy who was born with a very rare genetic disease called Canavans.
Canavan disease is a progressive, fatal neurological disorder that begins in infancy. It is caused by an inherited genetic abnormality: the lack of an essential enzyme causes deterioration
of the white matter (myelin) in the brain, thereby preventing the proper transmission of nerve signals.
Joseph has to have full support in his everyday needs as he is unable to sit up hold his own head up or even walk, Joseph is also non verbal but is learning eye gaze.
Joseph is a sweet loving young man who only wants love and to be happy x
