On 6 March this year, I lost my youngest brother Jason to cancer, he was 40 years old and had so much more to give. Life will never be the same. Cancer has stolen not only my brother, but my dad too. Jason fought for over 2 years, I never heard him complain and he continued to put others before himself throughout his entire illness. I had never run any further than a 5k ParkRun when I signed up to do RunNorwich (10k) in Jason's memory, but decided I needed a bigger challenge. So like Jason had done in the past, it just seemed fitting to run a half marathon. I will be running to raise money for The Big C who helped my brother and our family through such a devastating time.
