Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running my very first 1/2 marathon distance on Sunday 2nd May 2021 (13.1 miles / 21 km), but due to covid restrictions my event has been postponed until 2022.  I am are  incorporating the start, finish and a rest point at three of the Partingtons Holiday Parks.  A colleague is joining me for the final leg to spur me on !

Partingtons, my employer, have supported local charity Doherty's Destiny since 2019.  Dohertys Destiny's objectives include the promotion of positive mental health in local young people, providing support and signposting when necessary as well as providing invaluable support for parents, family and friends of those who decide that the journey is too much and take their own lives.

Mental health awareness is something close to my heart and Partington's recognise that this is an increasingly important issue.  

Please dig deep and sponsor me to do something that doesn't naturally come easy to me. With your support the charity will make a valuable difference and can help more young, local people.
