Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am dedicating the Kiltwalk challenge to my Dad, Brian Langford, who sadly passed away in 2022 due to Chronic Kidney Disease. Dad was a very active person who enjoyed the outdoors and loved to take long walks, especially around the golf course!
In collaboration with 5 of my work colleagues, and to celebrate some of us reaching ‘milestone’ birthdays, it was decided we should embark on this 20-mile walking challenge as none of us really strolled further than the nearest cake shop! We agreed that we would like to support a local charity that has been so helpful in the past for some of our friends and relatives. Hence our team, ‘The Kilted Coos’, are supporting The Tayside Kidney Patients Association.
The TKPA provides invaluable support to renal patients throughout Tayside and North East Fife. They are renowned for their Kidney Patient caravan located at Tummel Valley Holiday Park near Pitlochry and any patient undergoing a kidney transplant receives a ‘one-off' payment to assist with associated costs whilst in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for your support.
