Story

This year our challenge is the Cambridge half marathon! Shaun and Henry are taking on the 13 mile challenge in order to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Sadly Shaun’s Grandma is currently suffering with Alzheimer’s, and Shaun has seen first hand the effects that Alzheimer’s has on a family. Earlier this year, Shaun’s Uncle Kevin sadly passed away, but with his Grandma’s Alzheimer’s illness, she sadly does not know she has lost a son. Whilst this could be a good thing for Him, sadly she has not been able to mourn her boy.

We hope to raise as much money as we can to try and make a difference so that in the long run, through the brilliant work of Alzheimer’s Research and other similar charities, other families don’t have to endure this.
