We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the next 12 weeks I will be pushing myself to the limit. My aim is to improve my own health and fitness whilst at the same time raising money for a charity that is providing a lifeline to many men and their families.

My amateur Rugby League Team, Wigan St Patricks Magpies are this year raising money for CALM.  Unfortunately, we know too well the impact that suicide can have. Suicide is the single biggest killer in men aged under 45. CALM provide a vital service to men and their families affected by suicide.

During the next 12 weeks I will be supported by my local gym. John and Sarah Boland and the team at JSBefit, Forton Road, Wigan will ensure that I'm putting in maximum effort worthy of any donation that you can make.
