This Foundation has been set up in memory of Owen McVeigh who was only 11 years old when he passed away after a short diagnosis with leukaemia, The purpose of the charity is to raise funds to help and enrich the lives of children who are ill with cancer and their Families in the local area. The Owen McVeigh Foundation is a registered charity, number 1167794

i Am running the Dublin marathon on 28th october 2018 in memory of my grandad and to raise money for the Owen McVeigh foundation 

The Owen McVeigh foundation is close to my heart and Mark and Jo was an absolute inspiration when I was dealing with our loss.

Mark, Jo & The committee do fantastic work close to everyone’s home and this is our opportunity to raise money for them to help local children and families.
