Playing video games has been a huge part of my life for nearly 30 years. When I'm not gaming I'm out running and last year I successfully completed the London Marathon. This year I wanted to merge two of my favourite hobbies and therefore I am incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to run the Great North Run for the fantastic charity - SpecialEffect!

SpecialEffect enable severely disabled people to use computers and play video games in any way possible - using whichever part(s) of their body that works best - by adapting technology to their individual needs. It's so important that they can join in with family/friends, to be included and not left out.  This can hugely benefit rehabilitation, mental wellbeing, self-esteem and quality of life -  and much needed FUN!
