Story

I am  getting covered in colour with my famil in a 5k fun run for Pilgrims Hospices

In May 2019 my step dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness he sadly passed away on the 1st October 2019.

Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff provided skilled and compassionate care for James

£10 could pay for a patient's meals for the day. £25 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care. £30 could pay for our Community Team to hold a consultation with a patient in their own home. £45 could pay for counselling session for an individual coping with the loss of a loved oneBy sponsoring my challenge, you'll truly be making a difference to the lives of people living with a life-limiting illness and their families.

About the charity

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.
