Story

On 20th of March 2022 my sister Rebecca and myself will be abseiling down the Falkirk wheel to raise money in support of the charity Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland. This is obviously a cause very close to our hearts with Kacey being diagnosed with spina bifida at my 20 week scan.  Diagnosis day was 100% the most difficult day for Jonathan and myself, as the support we received from Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and UC Leuven Hospital in Belgium made the remaining months easier to deal with. Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland is the Scottish charity that provides support and information to those affected by the condition, but like all charities they require donations to be able to continue their work.  We would be incredibly grateful for any sponsors you can give for our abseil however big or small, it’s definitely outwith my comfort zone but is for a very worthy cause!
