I’m Tom and have been a carer for Sid for a few months now and even tho I’ve worked in the care sector for a fair few years now … I don’t think I’ve met anyone as positive and courageous as Sid . At 4 nearly 5 he doesn’t let much get in his way . That being said Sid was born with SMA type 1 ( please see and Sid’s full story on the tree of hope page ) and although he’s a positive little chap Sid’s life is full of hard work and determination from him and his parents and family . Sid is in need of some home renovations to help him freely access his home … including a through the floor lift and wet room . So I’m here just trying to help towards this with hopefully your help too . Soo many of you know I’ve had long hair for some time now … which I love as do some of you … some not so much. So with that being said I’m going to shave it all off to raise funds for my little mate Sid .
