Story

So what started as just me (Kerrie) shaving my hair off has grown into so much more... the industry that I’m proud to be a part of has come together.. the Dog Grooming world has united... supporting Seraph.. so here goes...

Background info:- My friends little boy Seraph is 4 years old. He has High Risk Neuroblastoma. Almost half of the children who make it through frontline treatment relapse. It means that Seraphs family are fundraising £237,000 for the Bivalent Vaccine clinical trial, currently only available at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Kerrie’s Head shave:- Shortly after Seraph was diagnosed, I said that I would shave my head if they ever needed to fundraise at any point. I was hoping,  for Seraph’s sake that this would not be needed.. but it is. So...  at 11am on the 23rd March 2019, my hair is being shaved by the lovely Luke at Gould Barbers in Kings Lynn and donated to the Little Princess Trust.

Charity Dog Wash:- A group of 7 professional dog groomers from around the UK are gathering to wash as many dogs as they can in one day. The event is taking place at DTails dog groomers in Devizes on the 14th April. The day is being sponsored by Milly’s - the manufactures of homemade natural shampoo.

Online Auction:- There is an online auction currently taking place where groomers are donating equipment they no longer need to sell to other groomers.

There’s more to come, so watch this space!

From all of us in the dog grooming world, thank you and keep sharing Seraph’s story xx
