The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

The idea of donating my hair started a while back, when I was very sick and once, during a hospital visit, I came across a little girl in the hallway, who was waiting for a chemotherapy session. She was bald and looked so sad, trying to hide herself from everyone's looks. It totally broke my heart.

On that day, I promised myself that I will donate my hair as soon as I get better. There is nothing else I could do to give this little girl her confidence and joy back. As an adult, it's already really hard being sick and/or being judged because you look different. For this little girl and many like her, hair is a part of their identity. And as an adult woman, I would like to take this action to fight against that common conception that beauty resides only on the outside and in your external appearance. Those little girls already go through so much suffering, so by donating my hair and raising money for the The Little Princess Trust charity, I want to be their force of strength through it all.

A little more information about the charity: The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.

SO...Around the 15th of December, I will be shaving my head during a photoshoot and video, which will be published in an online magazine, to raise more awareness about the cause. The whole shoot will be supported by a completely sustainable concept and team, to also raise awareness about the environment.

For decades, shaving your head has been a way of protesting, fighting and raising awareness for different causes, for a change to happen, for opening the eyes and hearts of people, to give up on narcissism and selfishness and grow love and compassion.

For this Christmas, let's do something different, it's TIME TO SHAVE THE EGO OFF and CHANGE THE LIFE OF SOMEONE. Help a little girl to get her smile back by giving a donation!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
