Hey peeps, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you that know me well will know that my white girl afro is
one of my craziest features. It’s safe to say that I look like Mad Mary most of the time, especially when it’s windy out. But women across the UK and the world having treatment for their Gynaecological
cancers don’t get to have this luxury.

So, that is why I have decided to shave my head in support of The Eve
Appeal. I hope that with the fundraising I am going to do will help towards earlier diagnosis, saving lives and beating cancer. Unfortunately, the awareness for Gynae cancers is very low and with your help I might be able to make a difference to that. I just want to do my bit.

The Eve Appeal helps thousands of women and family’s across the UK on a daily basis providing information on the key cancer
symptoms, guidance on treatment options, and support for those dealing with a cancer diagnosis. There are 5 different Gynae cancers and I know 2 amazing women in my life to have at least 2 of these. My Grandma and my Auntie Rach. I have no date yet of when I will shave my head but it will most likely be when my auntie starts her Chemotherapy.

Once I have shaved my head I will be donating my hair the The Princess Trust who help supply poorly children with their very own princess wig.
