So the time has come that I am about to do the unthinkable... that is right, I am shaving off my bountiful locks to raise money for charity. 

We all know how much I truly adore my hair, but it's about time that I did something worthwhile and put my ego aside (even if for only one night)... I mean check out my artwork, that is how dedicated I am!!!

I thought long and hard about which charity I should choose and being that there is only one thing in the world that makes me beyond angry, I thought I would raise money for The Survivors Trust, to help the survivors of Rape and Sexual Assault.

For perspective, Approximately 85,000 women and 12,000 men are raped in England and Wales alone every year... and its estimated that only 15% are even reported. For a crime that I personally consider worse than murder, these figures are abhorrent, but what upsets and frustrates me even more is that nearly all of the focus is put on how much of a monster the attacker is, there is nowhere near enough support for the unfortunate people who go through these experiences and that needs to change!

And so here I am, happily sacrificing my vanity to help raise money and awareness for this cause!
