Story
Hello and thank you for visiting my page. As most of my friends will know I love running in truly wild, remote and challenging places. It's what makes me feel alive.
The Spine race (https://thespinerace.com/) 268 miles along the Pennine Way is my idea of perfection as it challenges me both physically and mentally. If the weather plays ball it adds in a really challenging wonderful complexity of snow, wind and ice to the challenge too! Sound scary? Here's a taste of the last time I raced here in 2016:

Why Cornwall Search and Rescue? Well apart from their obvious work in searching for and rescuing people missing or injured out on the coast path and moorland of Cornwall they play a vital role in
“non mountain rescue” – searching for vulnerable missing people in rural locations. Something that resonates deeply with me.
As runners we never know when we may need the expert assistance of a Mountain Rescue team but without our vital funding they would not have the training or equipment to be able to give their time to those in need.
I'm willing to go 268 miles for them......can you spare just a few pounds for them? And the entertainment value of seeing my pain?!
Thank you all so much for your generosity, however small every donation will help!
