Garden House Hospice Care offers care and support to patients and their families. As a registered charity the hospice is dependent on donations so hospice care can be offered through in-patient admissions, day hospice, hospice at home, out-patients clinics and the family support team.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you are aware I lost my dear sister-in-law Elaine in November 2013 to cancer at the very young age of 54.

Elaine had supported charities and sufferers herself until she became unwell again in October 2013. Soon after this she went to The Garden House Hospice where she sadly slipped away.

The staff there were amazing, not just to Elaine but for all family members that spent any time with her. Nothing was ever too much.

As Elaine was a charity supporter it makes sense for us to continue to try and raise money in her memory.

This walk may be nothing for many, but for me it is going to be a challenge. I don't do walking!!

Please put your hands in your pockets and support this amazing hospice. Let's face it, we never know when we or a loved one may need it.
