Story
Ernie was a very funny, kind human being.
This year I will 10 years older than he was when he died. He was 31. St Richards Hospice supported him, and all of us during his short illness.
I have just had the opportunity to work with St Richards for the next year. I have left a job and colleagues I love to take this opportunity, because loving Ernie, losing Ernie and the support I received at the hospice really changed my life.
There was no inpatient unit for Ernie when he was very ill, although he was well cared for where he was.
I have just registered for this walk- which might break me for a few days
