Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!  We are three Ed Sheeran fans who had the slightly crazy idea that Ed was right when he sang "Love can change the world in a moment" and that we could find a way to bring the fan community together to prove it!  Ed's birthday is on the 17th of February and we thought what better way to celebrate it than with a fundraiser for one of his favorite charities. Ed has supported St. Elizabeth Hospice for years through donations of memorabilia and other items.  We'd like to continue that support and show just how kind and strong the Sheerio fan community can be when we unite for a good cause.

St. Elizabeth Hospice provides free hospice care for the people of Suffolk.  They provide services to improve life for those living with progressive and terminal illnesses through palliative care.  Their palliative care team works with each individual to determine their needs and ensure that they live the life they have with comfort and dignity.  75% of their £10.5 million budget funding comes from fundraising and donations.

We're running this fundraiser for the entire month of February, so we will be sending notification of the final donation to Ed as a slightly belated birthday "gift."  If you'd like to have your name noted on the letter we send, please make sure to include your name with your donation!  If you're interested in doing a little more, visit Instagram: @teddys.mug and click on the story highlight called Sheerios Uniting for instructions on how to be a part of a video as well.

Corine:

I'm from the Netherlands. Although I liked Ed’s music for years I started really loving it in 2017. Over the past two years his music changed my live and brought so many great people into my life. Working as a nurse for over 12 years made me see a lot of people with progressive and terminal illnesses. I know firsthand what good care in those difficult moments means to the patients but also their family. Knowing how close St. Elizabeth is to Ed and his family as well, makes this the perfect cause to raise money and awareness to.

Marie:

I’m from Montreal, Canada. I discovered Ed in 2015. My desire to travel, meet new fans and attend shows in different cities while creating fan projects for him has been a passion for 2 years. Working in a paramedical field, I want to support a local cause in Ed’s community that resonates with me. St Elizabeth definitely stood out and I am grateful they do the work that they do. Please help us support these amazing people. Small or big, a donation is a donation.
