Coast to Coast - Way of the Roses · 30 March 2019

We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

Three members of the Sheffield Giants American Football club will be heading out on a gruelling challenge on bicycles kindly loaned by ReCycle Bikes in Sheffield in aid of our clubs charity partner, the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity (TCHC).

We will be tackling the 170 mile Coast to Coast bike ride from Morecambe Bay in Lancashire on the West Coast to Bridlington on the East Coast in just 2 days! As if that wasn’t challenge enough for three people averse to cardio, we’re going to be completing it in full American Football kit! With minimal training, this will be one of the hardest challenges we’ve participated in.

We’re hoping to raise £2500 for TCHC so any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated to help us hit that target. TCHC help fund life-saving equipment, vital research and create a comfortable, engaging environment for the children in the hospital in Sheffield and it’s one that we are proud to support and bear the logo on our game jerseys. To see more about TCHC’s fantastic work and quite literally life changing impact, please visit https://www.tchc.org.uk/.

Thanks
