Story

We're aiming to raise funds to put on a performance of Brahms Requiem in 2022 in memory of victims of Covid-19.

Alan, our Musical Director and Conductor, will walk up Mount Snowdon together with choir members Jane and Michaela during week commencing 19th July 2021.

Sheffield Oratorio Chorus is a mixed voice choir of around 120 people, singing 3 major concerts per year. We aim to make a high quality contribution to the musical life of Sheffield and the region, and are passionate about singing.

Our repertoire spans music from the 16th century to the present day and our concerts include both well-known and loved works and new or less frequently heard pieces.

SOC is an inclusive, friendly choir where new members are made to feel welcome and supported. Our innovative Academy programme
helps both members and non-members in their development as singers.

If you're interested in joining Sheffield Oratorio Chorus as a singer or would like to find out more about us, please get in touch via Facebook (Sheffield Oratorio Chorus) or Twitter (@shefforatorio).
