Sunrise on Snowdon
Campaign by Roundabout (RCN 1061313)
Hiking up Snowdon in time for sunrise in support of Roundabout, your local youth homeless charity

Story

We are the Sheffield Wildcat's Rink Hockey Club. We have over 30 member's ranging from 4 to 70 years old and this year we are celebrating our 40th anniversary! To mark this event we are doing a 40 for 40 challenge in which we aim to raise money for 40 different charities. The last year has made this extremely difficult but we are now back on track with our biggest challenge yet, and 15 of our members will be taking part in the Sunrise on Snowdon hike for the Roundabout charity.

Roundabout is South Yorkshires local youth housing charity providing shelter, support and life skills to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Your donations will help to provide a safe place for young people and help us to provide the necessary support to help end the cycle of homelessness. Our work is a lifeline to so many and it helps the young people that we work with to prepare for a better life. We will be hiking up Snowdon under a dark and *hopefully* a star lit sky, seeing the sunrise across the mountain range as we reach the top of Snowdon. The challenge will allow us to reach the highest summit in Wales in one of the quietest times! We will be a part of a group taking part in this adventure for a very special cause, raising money to help young homeless people in South Yorkshire.
