Story
Why Hollygrove I hear you ask?
Simply because the staff at the school do such an amazing job with the pupils who are physically and mentally challenged.
Like most people I had very little experience/contact with a special needs school until my child had to attend. Over the last two years I have seen the children develop both academically and social beyond what I could imagine.
There is no better charity to fund raise for because charity should begin locally!
On Friday 26th July I shall be taking on the mammoth task of climbing
Mount Elbrus, Europe's tallest mountain. Although it is physically located on the Russian/Georgia border it it widely accepted as Europe's tallest mountain which stands at a whopping 18,510 feet above sea level. Needless to say there are many challenges to overcome along the way which involve walking over glaciers, negotiating crevasses, battling against the bone chilling temperatures which get as low as -30 and not to mention altitude sickness.
I'm going through all this to raise money for the pupils at Hollygrove which, no doubt will put a smile on many of their faces so come on dig deep and donate generously!
