Bupa Great North Run 2012 · 16 September 2012 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

On the 16th September 2012 I am taking part in the Great North Run.  I am running in memory of my daughter, Rachel, who died from a brain tumour in October 2005, aged 16.

I'm hoping to raise lots of money for Teenage Cancer Trust.  TCT provides specialist units for young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer.  Every day six young people will be diagnosed with cancer.  Your donations will go towards supporting them and improving their quality of life.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank you for your donations.
