Story

I am planning to ride  the Velocity Zip Wire in Snowdonia for the exhilaration and evidently it will 'leave me tingling with adrenaline'!!!  I will travel  one mile, at a maximum height of 500 feet going at speeds up to 100mph. I have decided to use this opportunity to raise money for St Teresa's Hospice.

St Teresa's Hospice provides care and support for palliative patients and their families/friends, through a variety of services involving dedicated staff and volunteers. However, recently, due to COVID-19 and the failing  economy, the hospice needs more help to    maintain and develop crucial care  services, to ensure that people who need safe and sensitive care can access  this locally.

This adventure will be in memory of ALL the patients/family/friends we have cared for throughout the years;   and who taught me the most  important aspects of palliative and end of life care.

I just hope I can go through with it without vomiting!!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
