Story
Many thanks for taking the time to visit Shelagh’s JustGiving page.
Shelagh was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer approximately three years ago.
She received excellent treatment and care from the team at Parkside Hospital, including surgery and chemotherapy, however, it spread to other areas until it could no longer be treated.
Despite this, she carried on with courage, wit and good humour, making the most of the time she had left supported by family and friends.
She felt strongly that it was important to support Cancer Research to increase the chances of effective treatments being found for others suffering from the same condition.
She will remain in our memories as a much loved sister, aunt, great aunt and friend.
Please give generously in her memory.
