Each night The Y provides 120 beds to young people who have no safe place to call home. A young person who has suffered trauma, family breakdown or abuse will take many little steps before they are ready to leave The Y with confidence to set up a home of their own.£10 buys a welcome pack for someone with no belongings.£80 could buy interview clothes and shoes£275 could pay for a month of specialist support for a young person who has suffered abuse. 

By completing the skydive I will overcome a personal challenge, highlighting the issue of homelessness and the many challenges those whom are homeless face.

Asking for help can be terrifying, and getting support from strangers (e.g. Project Workers) to live independently can be overwhelming. None of us are immune from this as our own personal circumstances can change within an instant, or we may know or have seen someone in this situation.
