Story
Firstly I'll give you some facts!
- Approximately 40 children in England and Wales are affected by SUDC each year.
- Sudden Unexplained Death In Childhood is the the 5th leading category of death for children aged 1-4 years.
- There are more young unexplained childhood deaths (at 1-9 years of age) than deaths due to traffic accidents, fires or drowning.
SUDC UK aims to help make SUDC predictable and preventable by raising awareness and funding crucial research. Most importantly they support families following such a devasting loss and families are connected with expert professional support.
This year I have decided to run weymouth half on the 20th of March, Cardiff Half marathon on the 27th March followed by London Land Marks Half Marathon on the 3rd of April and finally my first full marathon in Brighton on the 10th April in memory of the beautiful angel Emilia England who taken to soon.
I really appreciate any donation in this difficult time no matter how big or small, it all goes a long way in helping this amazing charity.
I'll update you on how my training is going and more than happy to have some training buddies if anyone is up for some early morning runs!!
