Tom is an eighteen year old trainee electrician from Parbold and a keen member of Newburgh Cricket Club. In January, 2013, he lost his leg from above the knee in a devastating road accident, near to my home. Since then, Tom has shown remarkable resilience and courage, making every effort to return to a normal life.

The Foundation's first target is to raise enough money to buy a prosthetic limb for Tom that will enable him to return to sport and stay healthy. The quicker he receives it, the more easily he will adapt to it.

On October 6th, I will be running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London. Please sponsor me and help Tom to get back to the life of a normal, active eighteen year old as quickly as possible.

Many thanks

Shelley
