Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 12th December 2010 my cousin, Lee, a fit and healthy 24 year old, went to sleep and never woke up.
He was another victim of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death from Epilepsy). Neither Lee or the rest of our family were aware that Epilepsy could kill. Tragically, now we are.
I have actively been fundraising since his death by holding coffee mornings and getting my children's school involved (they raised an amazing £2175!) but this challenge is going to test my resolve!
I haven't worn a pair of trainers since I left school and that was MANY years ago, but as my cousin had just secured a job coaching soccer to children in America I thought that an 'active' fundraising event was needed!
On Sunday 29th April I will be running the Half Marathon in Stratford-upon-Avon - that's 13 miles !!!!!!!
I am asking my family, friends and clients to sponsor me for this event and help me to raise funds to research into finding a cure and increase awareness of this terrible condition. Any donation large or small can make a difference, so please sponsor me today.
