Story

Hello dear friends,

I am a very sporty lady who is not afraid of some fierce competition but I am throwing myself in the deep end with this one!  I have never competed in a full triathlon before, so why not compete in the one to represent my Army Unit?!  To add to the challenge I will also be competing in the climbing competition just after!

The event is in just under a week now so the tempo is increasing!  Training is demanding but I am enjoying it.  I've even bought a race bike for this event and a triathlon suit :D  The distances are: 200m swim, 1km run to the bikes, 25km cycle and 6km run.  The combination of these sports is fairly new to me, as I usually compete in alpine ski racing, badminton, climbing.... I will then be changing into climbing gear and competing in the climbing competition. Help.

Please support me to raise some money for Children of Rwanda which is an inspirational charity supporting extremely impoverished kids through primary and high school and covering health insurance for those most in need.  This charity is of particular importance to me, as the founder of CoR is Robbie Macmillan, my brother who has such a huge heart and passion to make a difference!
