I am taking on the Costa Rica challenge to support the people of Palestine!

Civilians in Palestine are struggling and are facing the horror of major airstrikes, where the death toll is rapidly rising and hundreds of thousands of people are displaced with nowhere safe to go. The tightening of Israel’s siege of Gaza by cutting off food, medicine and aid has caused the death of 2.2 million people including half of whom are children!

As conditions rapidly deteriorate amid this latest escalation in hostilities, Islamic Relief remains steadfast in their determination to assist Palestinian families. Working closely with local partners, Islamic Relief are distributing essential items such as medical items, fresh vegetable packs, and hygiene kits, as well as providing psychosocial support to the children and people of Gaza.

As conveyed in the Quran- 2:274:

ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ سِرًّۭا وَعَلَانِيَةًۭ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
