Story

Patty and I have decided to do the Tough Mudder 2013 event which is taking place in The Dalkeith Estate this year, if you dont know what Tough Mudder is i'll give you some info, the rest you can google. Its a 10-12mile course with 25+ obsticles along the way designed by the British Military Forces.

http://toughmudder.co.uk/video/ The videos here should show you horrible a challenge this is going to be.

We've decided to do the event in Sheree's memory after speaking with Stevie and he was touched that we thought of doing it for a cause Sheree herself raised money for.

As most of you know Sheree sadly lost her battle following a failed heart transplant but her memory will live on forever and we hope to make a generous dontation in her name to the British Heart Foundation.

Despite her health problems, Sheree raised £3400 at a charity event in The Ritz in South Gyle last November, used her Facebook page to inspire others to sign up to the organ donor register and spoke about her condition on national radio.

Barbara Osborne, head of volunteer fundraising at British Heart Foundation Scotland, also paid tribute to Sheree.

She said: “She was an exceptional person who impressed us with her great desire to raise money to help others, while she was living with her own heart health problems. We were extremely sad to hear she’d passed away and our thoughts are with her family and friends.”

Sheree was such an inspiration and the bravest girl I've ever had the pleasure of knowing even when faced with such tragedy she was always smiling and I know she will be looking down on us on the day laughing as we get covered head to toe in mud!
