I am running the Bupa Manchester 10km for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research because they do amazing work - survival rates for leukaemia and lymphoma have increased dramatically over the last 20 years thanks to their research, and I want that to improve even further!  I have wanted to fundraise for Leukaemia and Lymphoma research for a long time after a close family member had acute myeloid leukaemia, and being on placement on the paediatric oncology ward at Manchester Children's Hospital and on the teenage cancer ward at The Christie made me even more determined to raise as much money as possible as I saw what fantastic work this charity does!!

Every penny helps so please donate absolutely anything that you can afford!  I haven't run 10km for about 5 years, so it will be really tough and I will actually have to get up and do some training for it (and for those of you that know how lazy I am these days, that is definitely going to be a challenge...).
