Ella is cutting her hair to support children with cancer

Cutting my hair · 20 June 2021
During the first lockdown Ella had been watching a programme called “Alexa and Katie”. The programme shows Alexa’s experience of suffering the consequences of losing her hair to cancer. Ella expressed wanting to help children in this situation so I (mum) suggested her researching to how she can do so. Ella then spoke to me and said that she found a site called the princess trust and wanted to donate her hair to help these children have wigs made if they need it. Ella explained that with the hair donation it still costs at least £550 to make the wig itself. Ella has only ever trimmed her hair and has always wanted her hair long. Cutting her hair is a big thing for Ella and demonstrates how much she wants to help these children where she can. Please donate even a £1 to help Ellas hair been made into a wig for children in this situation. Please see below a statement from the princess trust. Ella and her family are grateful for your support. Xx
