Early next month I will be joining Dee Belliere (founder of MEAK) and some other intrepid fundraisers for a walk in the Ndoto Mountains. I am going to be taken well out of my comfort zone walking in a very hot rugged and remote area of Kenya camping out at night with no toilets no running water and no electricity.  

 

MEAK (medical and educational aid to Kenya) is a small kitchen table charity which pride themselves in the fact that nobody in the UK takes any expenses which means that 99.9% of all donations get spent in Kenya.

 

The schedule for the next month alone is awesome.

 

May 1-8 -    MEAK Eye Mission Latkwen (which I will be going to before starting my walk).

May 7-13    MEAK Dental Mission (First one)

May 12 - 21 MEAK Paediatric Heart Mission Mombassa

May 20 - 28 MEAK Paediatric Heart Mission Nairobi.
